I am an MA candidate in History at Brigham Young Unviersity, with plans to pursue a PhD in American Religious History or Religious Studies upon completion of the MA. My current research examines contact and exchange between Methodism and early Mormonism. I have presented papers at the Mormon History Association and the Utah State Historical Society annual meetings. In addition to my current research, I have explored the history of the LDS Church in Ireland, Mormon settlement in Arizona, and “gentile” perceptions of Mormon women in the 19th century.
I live in Provo, UT with my wife, who is working on her BA in Advertising and Marketing.
