BYU Easter Conference

BYU Easter Conference
Saturday, April 11, 2009
9:00 a.m. to noon

Easter weekend is almost here and BYU Religious Education and the Religious Studies Center at will host the annual Easter Conference, To Save the Lost: An Easter Celebration. Saturday, April 11, from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium on the south end of campus. Admission is free, and the public is invited and encouraged to attend. Sunday dress is also encouraged but not required.

Sister Bonnie D. Parkin, former general Relief Society president, is the keynote speaker. Her remarks will be on ?My Portrait of Jesus: A Work in Progress.? Other speakers include Kent P. Jackson, Brigham Young University associate dean of Religious Education, and Lynne Hilton Wilson, PhD candidate in theology at Marquette University. Special instrumental and vocal presentations will also be featured during the conference.
