About: Restoration Studies is an annual publication combined with the Fall/Winter John Whitmer Historical Association (JWHA) Journal. Restoration Studies focuses on theology, religious, and cultural studies in Latter Day Saint Movements.

  • Scriptural Studies: canonization and textual studies, history of interpretation, interpretations by figures and social movements.
  • Theological Studies: peace and justice, environmentalism, feminism, liberation theology.
  • Cultural Studies: gender, international perspectives, religious community/organizational change, history of significant figures, comparisons to other traditions, generational studies.
